Hi!  I’ve been married 15 years and we have two boys ages 14 and 11.  I was a scrapbooker when my oldest son was a toddler and then packed all my supplies away by the time my youngest was mobile.  I saw Operation Write Home mentioned in a magazine and decided that card making was exactly the hobby I wanted to begin.  I started contributing cards in the fall of 2012 and have found other organizations that I enjoy sending cards to as well.  My (usually messy) craft room is now my sanctuary, though I do not get to enjoy it often enough.  I own a real estate company, work full time (well, not really, but I do go to the office 5 days a week) and as so many of you know, a mother’s work is never, ever done.
